The fair aims to respond to the Food Security Week and Dialogue on High – Level Policies about Food Security, Sustainable Agriculture and Climate Change Adaptation in Can Tho City as well as connect and promote trading to help units, enterprises in doing business in and out of the country and to promote, introduce clean and safe agricultural products.

The fair attracts over 250 booths of 120 companies, promotion centers, departments from the provinces and cities in the whole country.

The products are arranged into 5 sections, such as: section introducing clean agricultural products and agricultural products for export with VietGap, GlobalGap standards, Organic agricultural products; section introducing technological  products related to clean and safe agricultural products; section introducing specialties of regions and localities; Green Business section: introducing, consulting, trading many kinds of quality seedlings to VietGap standards; section for exhibition of achieved achievements in clean and safe agricultural production of provinces and cities.

Delegates visit the fair

Beside introducing and displaying the safe and clean agricultural products, there are many other activities in the fair, such as a workshop on connecting the supply and demand of clean and safe agricultural products 2017; Training courses and competitions on “Participating in successful Exhibitions and Exhibitions”, and many trade promotion programs, promoting products in various forms including seminars, conferences, customer conferences, cultural performances ... of the enterprises.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Mr. Dao Anh Dung, Vice Chairman of Can Tho People’s Committee emphasized that this fair is an opportunity for enterprises to advertise their products, meet and connect trading in parallel with the expansion and consolidation of the domestic market, exchanges, cooperation, and technology transfer, contributing to export growth and attracting investment.

The fair takes place from August 19 to the end of August 23, 2007, opening hours are from 8 to 21 hours everyday.
