Attending the Forum, there was Mr.Truong Quang Hoai Nam – Vice Chairman of the People’s Committee of Can Tho City, representatives of Departments, Divisions and Boars of Can Tho City, Vietnam E- commerce Agency, Vietnam E-commerce Association, enterprises, sectors, organizations and students in Can Tho City.

Can Tho E- commerce Forum 2017aimes to support organizations, enterprises and individuals looking for the opportunities to develop sales and business transactions by e- commerce, trade online effectively, develop the brands associated with the internet domain names, optimize multi- channel selling, create websites for the enterprises with cloud computing.

At the Forum, the delegates had a change to exchange and share experiences directly about opportunities as well as risks in doing business with leaders of companies providing outstanding technology and services for online sales, such as Verisign, Lazada, Bizweb, DGM, TrustPay, Giaohangnhanh.

The Forum consisted of 2 main sessions: an overview of e-commerce and some solutions of effective online sales. Specifically, in the first session, the presenters would present the trend and reality in developing e-commerce in the local through e-commerce indexes, develop online brands associated with internet domain names, sell on internet. In the second one, the presenters focused on  some issues related to the optimization in doing business through multi- channel selling and creating websites for the enterprises with cloud computing, marketing online, e- payment to support the enterprises in selling online, removing difficulties in finishing the order forms and the projects on refunding to breaking order forms. Also, the Forum organized 2 seminars on solutions to promote e-commerce in Can Tho and improve selling.

Speaking at the Forum, Mr.Truong Quang Hoai Nam – Vice Chairman of the People’s Committee of Can Tho City hoped the Forum introduce to young people in Can Tho new trading solutions in order to be able to develop their e-commerce activities in the coming time.  At present, the opportunities for e-commerce activities in Can Tho have been very large. These activities are not only in Can Tho City but also in the whole country and over the world. He hoped that after the Forum, the young people would find the opportunities to start business in the field of e-commerce and the E-commerce Association would continue to accompany with e-commerce enterprises to help Can Tho develop more and more in the future.
