Fireworks to light up the sky in 6 places in Can Tho city to welcome Mau Tuat spring

Can Tho will let off fireworks on the New Year’s Eve night in Mau Tuat spring, said the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Can Tho city on February 1.

The high altitude firework shows will be set off at Hoa Su restaurant, Ninh Kieu district. The low ones will be launched from 5 other places in Can Tho, including: Thot Not ward (Thot Not district), Phong Dien town (Phong Dien district), Thoi Lai town (Thoi Lai district), Co Do town (Co Do district) and Vinh Thanh town (Vinh Thanh district). This year, the cost of the firework shows are from the funds of socialization, not belong to the government budget.

Before the firework shows, the people of the city can watch the art program to welcome the New Year’s Eve in 2018 Mau Tuat spring namely, “Can Tho- 50 years, the spirit of spring” at Luu Huu Phuoc park.
