Can Tho Military Medical Hospital was built in the August of 2015 at Co Do District on an area of 2.5 hectares with nearly VND 100 billion total investment from the fund of the government. There are 3 functional rooms, 6 specialized departments, 60 beds, 55 doctors and nurses with professional skills, satisfying the health care services for officers, soldiers, armed forces and people in Can Tho and in the South West provinces.

In addition, Can Tho Military Medical Hospital is an educating and training unit for the medical reserve forces, creating professional human resources ready for defense and security in Can Tho City.
