The Permanent Vice Chairman required that the Book Festival be  practical, scientific, civilized, and safe. He emphasized the fire prevention, clean environment and the effectiveness of activity should be seriously taken into account. The DIC is the key organization of the events.

The Permanent Vice Chairman also required that the DIC should invite more participants to enrich the activity of the Book Festival in which the books are mainly to attract guests. In addition, the boots, the activities’ space and the stage should be designed suitably. The area for reading books should be arranged in such a way to display photos, to serve children and to promote tourism.

The Permanent Vice Chairman also asked the relevant departments for ensuring the safety of  food, transportation, fire and so on during the events.

 Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of Can Tho City, the Department of Education and Training, the DIC, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism program, organization the contest on the topics of  books involving schools in order to educate the importance of reading and encourage reading movements among students.

About the Book Road, the Permanent Vice Chairman required that the DIC, in cooperation with the People’s Committee of Ninh Kiều District and the relevant departments, find the suitable place to organize the  Book Road and  with.
