Opening the Ky Yen Ha Dien ceremony in Tan An Temple

On May 13th morning, the Ky Yen Ha Dien ceremony 2017 was opened in Tan An Temple, Cai Khe Ward, Ninh Kieu District, Can Tho City

The ceremony took place in two days (from May 13th to 14th 2017) with some rituals, such as taking Sac Than for a trip, opening Ky Yen Ha Dien ceremony, Xay chau, Ban soan, Tuc Yet, Chanh Te and so on.

The Ha Dien ceremony aims to thank the ancestors for expending and building the nation, pray for a peaceful country, peaceful people, good rain, good wind and good harvest. The ceremony contains the cultural values of the nation, honors the values of material and spiritual culture and educates everybody to preserve, inherit, promote the traditional moral values of the nation.
