The photo exhibition and the thematic display organized by the City Museum together with the Military Museum of Region 9 and other museums in the Mekong Delta. The exhibition introduces more than 120 photos that captured the historic moments of the country in the war, especially the general uprising of our army and people on April 30th, 1975. Besides, the photos introduce economic and social activities in Can Tho and other regions after the liberation.

The displaying area on the theme “The farming equipment used in the Mekong Delta in the resistance war” introduces visitors more than 250 items and photos of farming equipment used both to increase production, ensuring food supply for the local as well as for the battlefield and to be direct weapons fighting the enemies in the war, contributing the heroic history of the nation.
The exhibition will be opened until August 15th, 2017 on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Saturdays, Sundays and national holidays.
This is a practical activity celebrating the 42nd anniversary of the liberation of southern Vietnam and national reunification, the 131 years of Labor Day (01/5/1886-01/5/2017) and the 127th birth anniversary of late President Ho Chi Minh (19/5/1890-19/5/2017).
