This year, the Book Festival gathered over 270 booths of nearly 100 participating units in which over 195,000 titles with nearly 2,3 million copies are displayed and sold at the festival. Besides prestigious domestic publishers, there are nearly 10 foreign publishers coming from Britain, the United States, Australia and Korea. With a wide variety of patterns and titles displayed, this is considered as a good change for book lovers to find their favorite ones.

The readers not only “hunt” the books which are new, exciting, unique and meaningful but also have a change receiving interesting and unique gifts when shopping at the Book Festival. Many books have been discounted by up to 50% and many have been sold with the same prices from VND 5,000 – VND 10,000. All booths attract a lot of readers.

Ms. Tran Ngoc Chau, living in Co Do district, said, “My family likes reading books very much, so every year we come here to buy them. We buy not only books but also souvenirs, equipment for learning with low prices and receive many cute gifts”

Besides selling books at a deep discount, the Book Festival offers the readers changes to choose their favorite books with high quality and reasonable prices.

Mr. Quach Tuan Anh , living in Hau Giang province,  said, “Having a good book brings you a great sense of satisfaction, nothing can compare. This feeling is the same as that of finding a big treasure. I have ever gone to many bookstores in Hau Giang and Can Tho but I couldn’t find my favorite book,  today I have just found it. I hope that the Book Festival will be lasted forever so that the book lovers like me have the opportunity to read many meaningful books”.

According to the organizers of the Book Festival, there were about 800,000 visitors coming here in the opening evening and 420,000 copies were sold with VND 3 billion sales.
