FV Hospital wants to build a clinic in Can Tho city

In the afternoon of October 5, Mr. Truong Quang Hoai Nam - Vice Chairman of the People’s Committee and related departments of Can Tho city had a working session with the delegates of France- Vietnam Hospital (FV Hospital)

According to General Director of FV Hospital, Dr Jean - Marcel Guillon at the working session, FV Hospital has presently made a plan to open a clinic in Can Tho city to examine, treatment for outpatients, have some diagnostic services and invest modern medical equipment to support patients in Can Tho city in particular and in the Mekong Delta in general. Representatives of FV Hospital also hoped that the leaders of Can Tho city would hold FV Hospital find a vacant lot or long-term rented housing to build and design the clinic meeting the standard.

At the working session, Mr. Truong Quang Hoai Nam - Vice Chairman of Can Tho City People’s Committee said that Can Tho was the center of economy - culture - education - health in the Mekong Delta. Particularly in the field of medical examination and treatment, there were about 3 million people living in Can Tho city went to urban hospitals, reached 60% and the remaining were people in surrounding areas.  With a large number of patients, Mr. Truong Quang Hoai Nam welcomed the intention to establish the clinic in Can Tho city of FV Hospital representatives, creating conditions for people to have more options in their health care.

By the time of the working session, the representatives of the city’s departments introduced some vacant lots in the planning of Can Tho city for FV Hospital representatives to review. Also, the city’s departments introduced some preferential and supporting policies of the city to investors.
