Attending the ceremony, there were leader representatives of  the People’s Committee; leader representatives of  departments, boards, divisions and unions of the city; leader representatives of  Binh Thuy district, Binh Thuy Standing Committee; the officals of  departments, boards, divisions and unions of Can Tho districts and leader representatives of  Party Committee, People’s Council, People’s Committee, Vietnam Fatherland and Front of eight wards in Binh Thuy and a large number of people.

The Death Anniversary of the Hung Kings (on the 10th of lunar March) is an annual traditional festival of the Vietnamese to commemorate Hung Kings who built the nation. So, this year anniversary was solemnly celebrated by Binh Thuy district to educate the moral “When drinking water, think of its source”. This was also an opportunity to arouse national pride, create an exciting atmosphere to all Vietnamese citizens and promote the development in all aspects of economy and society.

Mr. Le Tam Niem, Chairman of Binh Thuy People’s Committee spoke at the ceremony.

In the solemn atmosphere of the ceremony, Mr. Le Tam Niem, Chairman of Binh Thuy People’s Committee reviewed the history in building the nation of Hung Kings. Also, he called on Binh Thuy district to actively carry out the theme provided in 2017 to build Binh Thuy district developing in economy, polity, culture and society, strengthening in defense and security.
