Tan Dai Phong has invested stations and 6 trams (9 seats each) with nearly VND 3 billion in total. The trams will have 4 tours which will start at some places in the city, such as: Ninh Kieu wharf, Can Tho night market, Tan An temple and Bai Cat – Cai Khe islet.
In Ninh Kieu – Phong Dien tour (VND 500,000/each), visitors will take to Truc Lam Phuong Nam Monastery and Phong Dien Orchards.
In Ninh Kieu – Binh Thuy tour (VND 400,000/each), visitors will take to Binh Thuy Temple, Binh Thuy ancient house and Bui Huu Nghia Memorial Hall.
In Ninh Kieu tour (VND 300,000/each), visitors will do the sightseeing in some typical routes of Ninh Kieu district. With the tour going to specific sites of Ninh Kieu district, visitors have to pay VND 200,000/each.
The trams with small and airy design which do not cause pollution, is a tourism service model that meet the visitors’ demands, contributing to the development of tourism and economy of the city.
