According to Mr. Doan Van Dung, understanding the situation and capturing the aspirations of some union members, workers who wish to have a simple, warm wedding ceremony, with the approval of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, the Can Tho City Party Committee, and the Standing Committee of the City Confederation of Labor have developed and implemented a plan to organize a 'collective wedding ceremony' for union members and workers in the city. In addition, through the organization of the collective wedding ceremony, the city's Confederation of Labor hopes to spread widely among union members, workers, and the entire population a model of civilized, economical weddings, honoring the traditional cultural beauty of the nation.
