This initiative aims to reduce school dropouts, provide an environment for students to engage in sustainable learning without facing exceptional circumstances, and ensure children can develop safely and equally while upholding their rights per the Children's Law.

In addition, the aid also aims to support the local government in implementing policies that encourage learning, improve the population's quality, ensure social security, and create conditions to help students develop and form good personalities. The aid amounts to a total capital of 33,000 USD, equivalent to 825,000,000 VND, and will be implemented in Co Do District, Thoi Lai District, and Vinh Thanh District in Can Tho City. The implementing unit is the Social Work Center of Can Tho City.

After two years of implementation, 150 students facing difficult circumstances in the three mentioned districts are expected to receive scholarships. It is anticipated that at least 90% of these students will benefit from the scholarships, avoid dropping out of school for economic reasons, and achieve average or above-average academic results. This will be made possible through a network of support staff in the areas where the aid is implemented.
