The Mekong Delta Tourism Association, in coordination with Cong Ly Newspaper, organized a workshop on developing human resources and improving law enforcement on tourism in the Mekong Delta on September 20.
On September 18, Can Tho Municipal Department of Natural Resources and Environment collaborated with the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) in Vietnam to launch a campaign to collect waste and clean the environment in the Cai Rang floating market, one of the popular tourist destinations in Can Tho City which is facing a risk of pollution. This activity is in response to the Campaign to Make the World Cleaner 2024.

In September 2024, Can Tho welcome several fam trip groups to survey and experience tourism products. One of the standout offerings was a thematic product called "Journey Home - Discovering Autumn in Tay Do," which involved a journey to discover the essence of the Western region.

On the afternoon of September 6th, Mr. Nguyen Thuc Hien, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Can Tho City had a meeting with Ms. Alexandra Smith, Consul General of the United Kingdom in Ho Chi Minh City for a working visit to Can Tho City.
