WorldTrans will operate eight direct flights between Can Tho and Bangkok with 8 return flights on June 6, 10, 14, 18, 22, 26, 30 and July 4 using the 180-seat AIRBUS 320 aircraft from Thai Vietjet Air. The duration of the flight is about 1 hour and 25 minutes.

The plane will take off in Can Tho at 9:05 am and land to Bangkok at 10:30 am; From Bangkok, the plane will take off at 7:00 am and land to Can Tho at 8:25. The trip ticket will be VND 4.6 million (including tax and airport charges, 7 kilograms of hand baggage and 20 kilograms of checked baggage). Passengers can register at  website: www.worldtrans.vn or at ticket offices and travel agencies in Can Tho city, Mekong Delta and other ticket offices in the whole country. 

Putting into operation in 2015, Can Tho – Bangkok flight has a stable market in every summer. According to the statistic of WorldTrans, more than 1 million Vietnamese visitors came to Thailand in 2017. From that, WorldTrans is expected to continue negotiation with Thai Vietjet Air to have 20-25 Can Tho – Bangkok flights, which last until August 2018.

The Board Chairman cum General Director of the WorldTrans, Mr. Vu Duc Bien, said “In 2018, WorldTrans will plan to have about 100 charter flights from Vietnam to major tourist centers in the world, such as: Japan, South Korea, China, Taiwan, Thailand and ASEAN nations, in which the focus of the company is deploying charter flights from and to Can Tho. It is expected that other charter flights, such as: Can Tho- Singapore, Can Tho- Malaysia, Can Tho- Taiwan and Can Tho- Jeju (South Korea) will be put into operation soon and Can Tho will become an attractive destination in the future.”
