On the evening of April 13th, at Song Hau Park in Can Tho City, the VPBank Can Tho Music Night Run 2024 officially kicked off with the theme "Music makes you move." This is the first sports event combining music in Can Tho and the Mekong Delta region.

On April 11, the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Can Tho City, along with Can Tho Municipal Police Department, Can Tho Municipal Military Command, Can Tho Youth Union, and authorities of O Mon district, held a groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of 60 charity houses for Hoa Hao Buddhist and Catholic households in the city. Mr. Tran Viet Truong, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee and Chairman of the People's Committee of Can Tho City, presided over and delivered directives at the meeting.
