On June 13th, in Can Tho City, the S.I.S Can Tho International General Hospital organized the CME (Continuing Medical Education) Workshop and Training Program titled “Updates in Diagnosis and Treatment of Stroke - From Theory to Practice”.
Throughout June, the Mekong Delta Tourism Association, in collaboration with the tourism departments of provinces and cities across the region, is conducting surveys and evaluations of outstanding tourism sites in the Mekong Delta. The effort aims to recognize new destinations and re-certify those that continue to meet established standards.

In the Mekong Delta, cuisine is increasingly recognized as a valuable tourism asset, with efforts underway to develop it to reflect the authentic spirit of the region, aiming to establish a distinctive culinary tourism brand.
Vietnam’s Tourism Development Strategy identifies a clear vision: “Develop green tourism, integrating tourism activities with the preservation and promotion of natural resources and environmental protection.” Over the years, environmentally responsible and green tourism has gained increasing attention and has inspired many practical initiatives.
On the morning of June 6th, Vice Chairman of Can Tho City People's Committee Nguyen Ngoc He attended the launching ceremony of the Tet tree planting festival and the program “Clean Environment - Green Life”, organized by the Department of Agriculture and Environment of Can Tho City in coordination with Syngenta Vietnam Company and Phong Dien District People's Committee.
On June 6, in Can Tho City, the People's Committee of Can Tho City, in collaboration with Can Tho University of Medicine and Pharmacy (CTUMP), held a conference to review the implementation of their Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on development cooperation. The event was chaired by the Vice Chairwoman of the Can Tho City People’s Committee, Nguyen Thi Ngoc Diep, with the participation of leaders from municipal departments and agencies and representatives from various faculties, offices, and departments of the university.
On the morning of June 5th, at Ninh Kieu 2 Tourist Wharf (Tan An Ward, Ninh Kieu District), the Department of Agriculture and Environment held a fish release ceremony to regenerate aquatic resources in 2025. Mr. Nguyen Ngoc He, Vice Chairman of the City People’s Committee, and leaders of departments, branches, unions, religious organizations and people attended the event. This is one of the activities in response to World Environment Day on June 5th.
On June 5, Chairman of the Can Tho City People's Committee Truong Canh Tuyen chaired the city’s regular online meeting for May to hear reports on the socio-economic situation during the month and in the first five months of 2025.
On the morning of May 30, at Cai Cui Port (Can Tho City), VIMC Container Transport Joint Stock Company (VIMC Lines) - a key subsidiary of Vietnam Maritime Corporation (VIMC) - in collaboration with DP World Vietnam, officially launched the "Mekong Express" domestic container transport service, connecting Cai Mep Port (Ba Ria - Vung Tau Province) and Cai Cui Port.
