On April 26, the People's Committee of Can Tho City hosted a ceremony to award the Investment Registration Certificate and commence groundbreaking for the Aeon Mall Can Tho project – a commercial center providing services to support tourism, office business activities, and other related services. This project marks the second strategic collaboration between Hoa Lam Group and Aeon Mall Vietnam. It is anticipated to become a key driver for socio-economic growth in Can Tho City in the coming years.
On the morning of April 25, VSIP Can Tho Joint Stock Company, in collaboration with Bestway Vietnam Sports and Entertainment Products Co., Ltd., held the groundbreaking ceremony for the Bestway factory at Vinh Thanh Industrial Park Phase 1 - VSIP Can Tho Industrial Park. This marks the first secondary investor to implement a project at the VSIP Can Tho Industrial Park.

On April 22, the People's Committee of Can Tho City held the launching ceremony for the Action Month on Occupational Safety and Hygiene 2025 with the theme: “Enhancing risk assessment, identification, and proactive implementation of safety and hygiene measures at workplaces,” alongside Workers’ Month 2025 themed: “Vietnamese workers pioneering into a new era.”
On the morning of April 21, at the Can Tho City Party Committee Hall, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, together with National Assembly deputies from Can Tho City, held a meeting with 300 voters representing the city’s Business Association, Young Entrepreneurs Association, Women Entrepreneurs Association, and prominent enterprises in Can Tho City. This event took place ahead of the ninth session of the 15th National Assembly.
Mr. Ha Vu Son, Director of Can Tho Municipal Department of Industry and Trade, emphasized the importance of “strongly and thoroughly addressing issues related to dairy products” during the conference on April 18, reviewing the first quarter's results and planning for the second quarter of 2025. At the conference, the Can Tho authorities focused on inspecting distribution loopholes to better manage the milk market.
