Can Tho will let off fireworks on the New Year’s Eve night in Mau Tuat spring, said the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Can Tho city on February 1.

The program “Sac Xuan miet vuon 2018” (Spring in the countryside) was officially opened at Can Tho city’s Museum on January 31 morning. Turnover from tourism reached nearly 11,315 billion VND

According to the South-Western emulation agency, in 2017, the Mekong Delta region welcomed 22,457,000 visitors; the total tourism revenue reached nearly 11,315 billion VND. This is an impressive achievement since the revenue this year is more than doubled compared to it 4 years ago (in 2013: about 5.100 billion).
